Thursday, January 31, 2008 Winter Blues
January has got me down, and there is still february to go...
My job sucks and I'm looking for something less soul destroying. It has virtually zapped me of my creativity.
Moods have been a bit mental, stress levels high, not eating, endless rambling in my head.
Keep telling myself things will get better, things will change. They have to.
Always tired, no motivation. Cold.
On the upside, another random doodle became a quite beautiful mandala. I'll post pics tomorrow. For now, I must sleep.

Thursday, January 17, 2008 My New Tattoo
Unfortunately we didnt have enough time to get the whole thing done. I sat for 3 hours and it's around half way done. It looks absolutely amazing and hurts like a bitch!
I'm booked in for feb to get it finished. More ink to look forward to!
Barry (BJ's Tattoo) was fantastic and I was stunned at how close to the original he got. it looks like my work! Identical!
The design contains Alex Grey/TOOL's flaming eye designs, in 2 fishes swimming up my arm (a play on the Paraboloa DVD), and Pisces, with a Lotus flower mandala sitting on the water. Flames and waves in the background which is yet to be finished, and lots of little bubbles!

Wednesday, January 16, 2008 I'm getting tattooed in the morning!
The last of my 30th Birthday Tat's. I'll be 31 soon!
My appointment is at 10am, and i've just got in from a late shift. I'm so excited and nervous. I've somehow got to get to sleep soon, and be up early, to take my baby to my Aunt, and head on over to the studio. I can't quite believe it's going to happen. I've been talking about getting my forearm tattooed for a while now, about 5 years! and I got the design sorted a couple of months ago. Getting this job has meant I've been able to finally earn enough money to afford it, and so.. here I go, there's no return!
Friday, January 11, 2008 Not been around much!
Apart from drawing lots, I now have a part time job.
It's ok. Boring, monotonous, and virtually impossible to please the bosses, but it's some pocket money, and to celebrate, I am getting a big tattoo next week! Pics will obviously be up next wednesday! so be sure to check back. I'm having one of my own designs.. not a mandala.. yet, but something fishy! I'm saving my back for my mandala tattoo, which will be one huge mandala!
