The Summer holidays with kids home and no money was tough, and I was ready to burst by the time my kids started back at school.

I had a real bad time, again.  I cant bear it when the sucidal moments come, but thankfully, I'm still here.

It was like buses.  A couple of weeks ago, I sent a friend a 'HELP!' message.  I didnt know where else to turn, and he's an expert in NLP, so I figured he might be able to help.  Luckily, although he normally lives a long way away from me, he was in a neighbouring town for a week! so I went to see him.  It was an excellent session, and mainly, it was confiding in a new friend.

I also re-found a website I have visited on and off for years,  Living w/PMDD, and found they had started a forum on Ning...

Within a week, I had had contact with two other UK sufferers, which is pretty amazing, as I've never really spoken to anyone who can totally understand before.

It is amazing to hear how Donna has won the battle, and how positive she is.  I have always known that a hysterectomy was a possibility, but never thought it would be me.  It's so easy to doubt everything with this illness.  I've gone through life just hoping that people would believe my crazy symptoms, when you are fine one minute and ripping heads off the next, it's hard for anyone to understand.

I am really scared at the moment, and am doing lots of research into the operation and the symptoms of menopause.  I will be trying an injection in a couple of weeks, that will put me into a false menopause, to see if stopping the cycling hormones will stop all the other symptoms of PMDD.  If I do get relief, and the menopause symptoms arent unbearable then I will be seriously considering a Hysterectomy.

The other sufferer I met, Ruth, has also created art around the subject of PMDD, which has spurred me into looking at the subject again and creating some new work.
