I made it my mission to catch her in this year after seeing her empty nest last spring. The nest is magnificent.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;Most of the swans living on Britain's waterways belong to the Crown, a status enjoyed by these graceful white birds since the 12th Century. Swans are regal and remind us of the days of English dignity and calm restraint. Yet they are strong, confident and assertive when protecting their young. The sword is very special to me, and when I first moved here, this symbol kept me safe and strong.
