When I want a break from drawing Mandalas, I tend to turn to collage, psychedelic images, painting, inks... whatever takes my fancy.   I am inspired by many things, including, Psychedelic poster art, Album cover art, Blotter art, Art Nouveau illustrations, Folk art, Graffiti and anything depicting spirituality, in all it's forms.  I love working with symbols, and often turn to the Tarot for guidance and inspiration.  Fractals amaze me, and I love crop circles.  Living in Hampshire, UK, I am lucky enough to be able to visit them.  Two years ago we had one in our village!

2007 may be my year to fulfill a long held dream of mine.  To sit and meditate, then draw at the centre point of a crop circle.  Hopefully, this year I will be able to acheive that!

The following galleries contain random pieces I have created when the urge has taken me.

PLEASE NOTE:  The Hallucinart gallery contains images drawn under the influence of the entheogen, Psilocybin.  There is nothing unsuitable for children in this gallery, but I would like to make it clear that I do not advise anyone to experiment with entheogens without thorough research and extreme caution.  It is not my intention to encourage anyone to take hallucinogens.  This is a personal interest that is always undertaken with care, I am over 18 years of age.  For excellent information on entheogens and hallucinogens visit my Shrooms Page.

1051869-620129-thumbnail.jpgAn entheogen, in the strictest sense, is a psychoactive substance (most often some plant matter with hallucinogenic effects) that occasions an enlightening spiritual or mystical experience. In a broader sense, the word "entheogen" refers to artificial as well as natural substances that induce alterations of consciousness similar to those documented for ritual ingestion of traditional shamanic inebriants, even if it is used in a secular context.
